Hi, I’m Christina True, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I help children, teens, and adults through some of the most important seasons of their lives.
I work with clients at our Bellevue (Nashville) TN office, and online throughout Tennessee and Kentucky.
I specialize in helping clients ages 5 and up navigate ADHD and autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, family transitions, mood disorders, and the unique pressures faced by individuals. That includes new moms adjusting to postpartum life, teens working through identity and stress, and adults seeking clarity and emotional stability.
You may be struggling with anxious thoughts, difficulty making decisions, challenges related to ADHD or neurodivergence, or the impact of past trauma. Or you may simply want a space to slow down, breathe, and sort through what you’re carrying.
My style is collaborative, strengths-based, and rooted in trust and honesty. In therapy, we’ll begin by exploring the stressors — past and present — that brought you here, then work together to build realistic, meaningful goals that reflect the life you want to create. I believe that when clients have a safe environment to express themselves without fear of judgment, they begin to reconnect with their voice, their resilience, and their sense of purpose.
Education:Bachelors and Masters Degree from Austin Peay State University in Social work.
Professional experience: I have been practicing for over four years. I started my career working at a nonprofit sitting working directly with parents, families, and young children. While I work with those specific groups, I am also expanding my preferred population and I have been enjoying working with adults with unique family and stress related challenges.
When I am outside of the therapy space, I enjoy laughing, spending time with family, friends, and those I hold dear to my heart. I enjoy trying out a new coffee spot or spending time in nature. I enjoy being creative with my wardrobe, my space, and how I express myself.
I do this work because I truly care and feel a unique calling to sit with people during the most challenging times of their lives. I find it a privilege to hold space for individuals experiencing difficulties.
Life is challenging, but I believe that finding a warm, inviting environment where you are also encouraged to become the best version of yourself is essential to this process.
