Hi, I’m Trey Manor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with more than five years of experience helping teens and adults heal from trauma, strengthen relationships, and build emotional resilience.
A significant part of my practice focuses on working with men, military personnel, and first responders. I specialize in trauma recovery for teens and adults and alcohol and pornography addiction. I also specialize supporting clients through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the impact of painful or overwhelming experiences.
Many of the men I work with were raised to “push through,” stay in control, or keep emotions to themselves. Over time, that can create isolation, conflict in relationships, or trouble expressing what they need. If you’re stuck in patterns you can’t quite shift — anger, addiction, disconnection — and ready for something different, this is where we’d start.
Clients often describe me as steady, direct, and deeply compassionate. I offer a grounded, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, understand your story, and safely explore the emotions or experiences you don’t usually say out loud. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths and build the internal tools to move forward with confidence, intention, and resilience due to being able to understand and express the challenges you have been facing.
Education: BA in Psychology and MS in Marriage and Family Therapy
Professional experience: I have more than five years of experience helping teens and adults heal from trauma and strengthen relationships. I have gotten to help many men and women overcome addiction, understand and verbalize the impact of their unique experiences, and gain tools and skills to navigate the challenges life constantly presents.
I genuinely love what I do, and I think that matters. Outside of the office, I stay busy with two young kids, serving in the National Guard, and trying to maintain some version of work-life balance. Spoiler: it is a constant work in progress, and I would not have it any other way. When I do get downtime, you will find me spending time with friends and family, staying active, reading, hosting game nights, or picking up a new skill just because I can. Work-life balance is something I take seriously for myself and something I often talk about with clients too.
I became a therapist to help people. Yes, I fully recognize how cliché that sounds. But the truth is, I am most effective when I am helping others through conversation and real relationships. I believe everyone wants to be known and loved, and yet most of us were never taught how to ask for it, accept it, or give it. I want to help people learn those things so they can actually receive and enjoy the deep connections I believe every person deserves.
