About me:
I am an LPC-MHSP specializing in working with individuals of any age who are struggling with feeling unheard, misunderstood, and alone. My background in studio art gives me a unique perspective in my approach to counseling. To me, there’s no such thing as “bad art.” Every original art piece is a unique expression of thought, emotion, and experience. Every art piece has its own story to tell, and that’s what makes it valuable. I believe people are the same way! We are all precious and irreplaceable creations. My job is to help you see the beauty in yourself that you may have lost sight of along your path.
My Approach:
Many times, having a safe and affirming place to talk about what’s going on provides the clarity needed to move forward. I believe that when people feel heard, valued, and understood, they bloom. We all possess tools for survival that we already use- that’s why we’ve survived! I aim to familiarize you with the tools that you have and give you some additional ones to work with as well.
